| Red (209) is most commonly found as an opaque (183) glass. The shape, rounded with flat sides (124) is the most common shape. The size is nearly the average, about 1 cm (164) and the shortish nature of the bead (shorter than it is wide, but not really short) (152) is also the most common. The decoration applied in multiple lines around the bead (monchrome lines[311], roughly parallel and straight [503]). Callmer notes a similar bead type B262 although the decoration is white which was dated between 790 and 820 AD. Previous
