| An opaque (183) dark blue (214) bead is fairly rare although some have been found. This shape usually called a mellon bead and marked by a round top, straight sides and impressed lines (125) is uncommon but not rare. Its somewhat larger size at almost 14mm (165) makes it less common, while its proportion at just a little shorter than its diameter (152) is quite common. This decorative pattern of large blobs of colour, however, is not documented in Callmer's work.
