| Ragnarr passing the time with a little carving. This photo was taken in the small room at the end of the great hall. For this demonstration the room was set up with a bed, a box, some armour and weapons, and a supply of trade goods. Ragnarr spent most of the time carving soapstone or antler game pieces for use on the board carved into the box (just visible at the end of the bed). This interactive tool proved to be very popular.
